Haven't done one of these in awhile. Sorry about that. I don't want to make you think that I'm shutting myself off from you all. Far from it. I love you all from the bottom of my heart... or what could be considered my heart. I actually don't know what lies beneath my sternum. I think it's my heart, but I can't be sure...
Here's a furry. Haven't brought one of these out in ages. This is a moose!
Anyway, here are some things upon which you can click, which will lead you to new things, upon which you can read.
Hatter bemoans the summer season. Personally, I think this one's shaping up to be a whole hell of a lot better, but, who am I to argue with the LAMB's Best Blog winner. The man knows his shit!
Reel Insight takes on Kate Winslet. Where has she been since winner her Oscar? Just a question...
Mike wonders if and how the bad reviews will affect his viewing of his most anticipated movie of the year, Larry Crowne.
The Droid You're Looking For takes on Hobo With A Shotgun.
Tom and I differ pretty drastically on The Tree of Life. I love it to death, and he sort of hated it. Here's his review.
Also, don't forget to play Cinematic Captions over at Man, I Love Films. You have two more days.
Alright, peace.

They want to make sequels and prequel's to Blade Runner????!!!!???? The catalyst for the 2012 apocalypse has been found. Now, we have to destroy it! Join with me, brothers! Let us fight! Let us drink to the power! Drink to the sound! Thunder and metal are shaking the ground! Drink to your brothers who are never to fall! We are brothers of metal here in the hall!
I swear to you. This thing about Manowar is completely healthy.
Anyway, here are some things upon which you can click, which will take you to new things, upon which you can read.
In a not so subtle stroking of my own ego, here's my conversation with Hatter on Say Anything. I know I already put this up yesterday, but, screw you! Any publicity is good publicity!
Darren of the m0vie blog give us some of his excellent Non-Review Reviews. See him blast through Armageddon and Piranha 3D.
Our friendly neighborhood Kaiderman lists off his favorite alien movies in honor of Battle: Los Angeles opening today.
Tom reviews one of the best movies of last year, 127 Hours. I wish I could say it was as EXTREME as mine, but that would be lying.
Finally, LAMB Movie of the Month is being brought back. For the kick-off, we have a real winner, Black Dynamite. All are welcome to participate.
FOR FREEDOM!!! BEAUTY!!! TRUTH!!! AND LOVE!!!!

Talking Say Anything With Hatter
I had the good fortune of being involved with the latest installment of Hatter's "Falling For the First Time" series, where a guest blogger watches a classic that they've never seen, and chat with Mr. Matinee about it keeping in context how said classic has aged. I landed the coveted job of having to watch Say Anything. What did I think? Click the pic.

First X-Men trailer! It looks great.
Anyway... Here are somethings upon which you click, which will take you to new things, upon which you can read.
Anomolous Material asks what critically and commercially acclaimed movie was lost on you? For me, it's Titanic.
Dearly Devoted Dylan over at Blog Cabins goes ahead with Part II of his Grading the Movie Studio Logos series.
James of Cinema Sights takes a look at one of the best movies of 2010, Never Let Me Go.
And finally, Hatter presents his own bastardized take on Jess' Mashup Game. I hope he adds more.

Uhhh... yeah. JoGo's in The Dark Knight Rises. That's all the news that's fit to print this week.
Anyway. Here are some things upon which you can click, which will take you to other things, upon which you can read.
Film Intel gives their opinion on a personal guilty pleasure, Black Dynamite. He and I couldn't have more differing opinions on the matter.
In another installment of his ongoing, IS IT JUST ME, series, Kai voices the question that's been plaguing a lot of people, whether or not Toy Story 3 should be nominated for Best Picture.
The m0vie blog looks at another casting rumor tied to The Dark Knight Rises. This one is interesting, to say the least.
And finally, Fletch, Hatter, and I have all made the decision that Disqus, while a fun experiment, failed to deliver the goods, and, as such, we have switched back to Blogger's regular comment system.
These are trying times we live in. Keep your head on a swivel. Travel in packs. And always carry your sword. You'll be ok!

Well, with Oscar noms out, there's not a whole lot of varied content flying around the blogosphere as of now. It's all "nomination this" and "snub that", and "oh look, here's the first Anne Hathaway/James Franco promo."
Actually, that's pretty funny! I really hope Franco does that if there is a wardrobe malfunction. Anyway, here are some things upon which you can click which will take to you to new things which you can read.
Hatter looks back on 2010 in still frames, giving out his favorite still images of the year.
James saw The Way Back, and thought it was pretty swell.
I'd be remiss if I didn't have an Oscar thoughts post for this week, so here are Peter's thoughts.
Andrew's been going through his Encore Awards for 2010. Here are his nominations and winners for Best Opening.
Before I leave you, I just want to remind you that The 1st Annual Snubbies have commenced, and if you have not voted, you totally should. The winners will be announced on Feb. 28th, the day after the Oscars, so you have plenty of time. Come on! Plenty of underrepresented films are given their just deserves. What's not to like?
Cya around the Black Hole folks.

I figured I should probably start doing one of these. You know, share the love, as it were. I mean, everyone else it writing such great stuff, and how do I thank them! I'm a bastard, I know, but I'm trying to redeem myself, man! It's hard work!
Anyway, this'll become a weekly thing in the vein of Hatter's Everyone's Talking feature. So, for your reading pleasure, here are some things upon which you click, and they will take you to new things, which you can read! Enjoy!
Fletch is back! 5 posts in 6 days? Say it ain't so! Get caught up on all things Blog Cabins with this week's State of the Cabins.
Castor at Anomolous Material is hosting the second Hollywood Fantasy Draft. The pitches have started to come in, and they are juicy, to say the least. Here's a pitch from Steve of 1001Plus.
Marshall managed to score an early screening of The Dilemma. Lucky bastard! Unfortunately, according to him, it's not very good. Here's his review.
Hatter caught a glimpse of what Rooney Mara as the new Lisbeth Salander looks like, and gets the conversation going on the subject. Take part.
Nick is continuing with his ambitious 60 Weeks/60 Movies project. Here's his review of a personal favorite, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
Yeah...

It's Good To Have Friends
Isn't it?
This past week, I strolled down to my mailbox in the Campus Center here on Bard Campus. After getting it open, I happened upon a little something-something from a certain someone-someone. Hatter had alluded to a gift of sorts that would be finding its way to me at some point as a thank you for putting up with a Matineecast recording session mired by technical issues up the wazoo. Unfortunately, Hatter's big move to a stylish new crib postponed the mailing of said gift, and, since its college, and I was in a show, and I have work, and I'm busy, and I'm tired, and I have a social life outside of this blog (crazy, right?), I briefly forgot about the incoming present. So, imagine my surprise when I found a nice little package sitting in my box, from a certain mad person. What was it you ask?
A DVD copy of Moulin Rouge!!
SAWEEEEEEEET!!!! I was very excited about that. Not only am I now privy to all the juicy extras, but now I can watch it legally!! YAY!!! Thanks Hatter. You da man!!! Here's a special furry just for you!!! This is a bunny!
