War Horse just might be the best thing I've ever seen in a theater, and that includes a children's theatre production of Babar!
It is an absolutely incredible show, with stunning imagery, beautiful performances, and full to bursting with emotion and heart. This is one that will be on my mind for the foreseeable future, and one that I will instantly recommend to anyone.

I so look forward to War Horse because the trailer makes me pine for the days of good old fashion storytelling on a grand scale without mountains of CGI. However, the trailer does feature maybe one too many sweeping shots of horses running.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see War Horse. Mainly because I lost my horse to someone else, and I found out just recently that she's moved every further away. Now I feel like going off on a sweeping journey to get her back. I wish I could see the stage show!
